I work full time in a city of 9 millions inhabitants.
Hong Kong life in all its aspects rotate around your work. Usually here you see the beautiful clair cblue sky with cloudy shapes in the morning for the time you take to arrive at your workplace. Afterwards you can see again the same beautiful sky for an half hour during the lunch (because the other half hour you will sit somewhere at a table eating). Finally when you come home you can enjoy a great sunset from the veichle on the way back home unless you take the MTR, underground.
Urban lifestyle is not that light and when you are home at the end of the day you feel like an angel who has been flying all day and now only wants to rest his wings.
Interesting aspects of the urban life connected to your job:
you always keep a wide eye open on the global economy [...]

This line of the song seems so appropriate today for some reason. However, it is purely coincidence that this wsa the next line of the song.
Yes, it’s odd title for a post, but I am working my way through the songs of Hair for the Hair Festival. Don’t worry, I will stick to the safe songs and promise not to post a series of entries each titled from lines of Sodomy. So! Hair Fair! My first post after Hair Fair opened was about this stunning hair from Exile that I had noted when it was first shown on the feed and my mad dash to get it during the sneak peek. So, imagine my surprise when I signed on and received a lovely thank you gift….and yet another hair style that I really like. This time with a cap that changes color with a simple touch.
I started off today [...]

It’s funny how badly stats can plummet after not having blogged for a week.
It’s fine. STATUS MEANS NOTHING! ):
Well. To steer away from any excuse I can give to cover up for my absence from the WORDPRESS WORLD, I will just list a few (x12939403049803) things that I’ve done so far. These include: More walking, Thrift-Store Adventures, Junior’s Maze Day, Eating, Spending money on Food/Frozen Yogurt, buying LOTS of hats, cleaning my room, spending countless hours with Winston&his Grandma&his Siblings, taking the AC Transit for the first time in my life, going outside in the middle of the night to find my best guyfriend & his buddies there, Spending time with girlfriends, Not Blogging.. and this list goes on (you can wake up now).
Now that the sleeping spell has expired, I will tell you some of the highlights of my past week.
1) The first thing i remember joking about blogging [...]

9.9 millimetres!According to Engadget, Sony have just released an LCD TV that’s 9.9 millimetres thick. Yes, that’s less than one centimetre.
The guys at Engadget reckon that the unit will cost $4,400US (£2,395) and is available in Japan from November.
Now, that’s all well and good and you’ve got to admire the Japanese for their innovation. However, it would be really nice if the Big boys (Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba etc), rather than making the TVs one centimetre thick or 103 inches along the diagonal, make them cheaper.
Yes, I realise that with innovation the cheaper end of the market gets better too but I don’t want a QangbigDong 37″ Plasma with pretend HD upscaling for £300 from Asda. I want a reasonably priced Tosh, Pan or Sony unit that’s got true abilities, looks good and performs well.
Is that really too much to ask?

After 2 hours straight of homeworking ( I completed my contributions to a 20 minute English oral on Romeo and Juliet, and parts for the non contributing students, viscom research, and math), a long day at school (it was actually longer by 5 minutes), running for the train and suffering from Dysmenorrhea (just a technical word for period cramps). I’m too tired to get out of my outrageously uncomfortable folding chair. I’m thinking “If I get off the chair would I have enough energy and will power to walk to my bedroom, get my towel, and stand up in the shower?” and the answer is “no”. My room smells like yesterday’s Dior perfume, this morning’s coffee and my afternoon snack of grilled cheese and ham sandwich (white bread, full cream cheese and 3 sliced of ham). Damn cravings.
Am I on my way to looking like this to this? Probably.

Is it really possible to have a sustainable relationship with someone who’s not from the same background than we? I remember once a TV documentary about a woman who met her rich husband in a club, and who described her life as a fairy tale with her playing the role of Cinderella. She came from a modest background, and accepted to live with him in the United States, in his lavish villa. She said she felt happy but yet, she was seeing a therapist.
I believe it’s not easy saying goodbye to your old life, where you have all your references, to embrace a new life induced by the one we love. But this my personal opinion: I need to have stable references in my life. This is what builds my strength. I couldn’t sacrifice every aspect of my life because of love. I would fear I wouldn’t recognize myself.

Polyvore is a great blogging tool, that helps you create your own fashion templates. It was very useful checking out Precious style and seeing Marcia’s own creation. She had got the idea, from another favourite blogger of mine A StoryBook Life. Inspired, I made my own doggy fashion template.
